I sometimes get angry comments from people.
They tell me that I don’t know what I’m talking about because I didn’t go to college to study nutrition.
But the thing is, I learned pretty much all of this stuff from people who are much more knowledgeable than I am.
Many scientists, professors, doctors and dietitians recommend similar things.
In January I wrote a list of 17 paleo and low-carb friendly doctors.
Now it’s time for a list of 11 paleo and low-carb friendly registered dietitians with their own blogs and websites.
The list is in no particular order.
1. Dietitian Cassie
Cassie is a Registered, Licensed Dietitian who specializes in weight loss with real food. She works at a hospital and does counselling at various treatment centers with children, teens and adults.
She shares a lot of nutrition tips and recipes for free on her website: Dietitian Cassie.
2. Amy Kubal
Amy Kubal received bachelors and masters degrees in both Food Science and Human Nutrition from the University of Colorado.
Amy specializes in the Paleo Diet and performance nutrition. She works with athletes and people looking to improve their health and body composition. She writes articles for RobbWolf.com.
3. Melanie Thomassian
Melanie Thomassian graduated from the University of Ulster in Ireland with an honors degree in human nutrition and dietetics.
Her aim is to make good health sustainable and easy with her approach. She writes about nutrition from an evidence-based perspective on her website: Diet Rebel.
4. Kelsey Marksteiner
Kelsey Marksteiner is a registered dietitian who is currently working on her Masters of Science in Nutrition and Functional Medicine.
She believes that a healthy gut is essential to a healthy life and promotes a diet that focuses on nourishing and protecting the gut. She writes articles for her website: Healthy Gut, Healthy Life.
5. Jennifer Dickert
Jennifer Dickert gained experience working with a diverse population in Houston, then went to work on an organic farm.
She uses the knowledge she has gained to focus on not just whole foods, but also a local and humane way of eating. Her website: Super Natural Nutrition.
6. Stephanie Greunke
Stephanie Greunke is a registered dietitian and personal trainer who is a strong believer in the paleo lifestyle.
She emphasized psychology in her education and has helped clients with a wide range of nutritional needs. She writes articles for her blog, Rock Your Hormones.
7. Kelly O’Connell Schmidt
Kelly O’Connell Schmidt is a registered dietitian currently in private practice who specializes in food intolerances and primal eating.

8. Aglaée Jacob
Aglaée Jacob is a registered dietitian from Canada who worked as a diabetes educator for 3 years.

Franziska Spritzler is a registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator with a passion for low-carbohydrate diets.

Sabrina Ramme is a registered dietitian with a passion for real food nutrition.

11. Mary Trenda
